3 Steps to Getting Along With Your Neighbors
Posted on February 24, 2010 · 2 CommentsSome of us may know our neighbors while others may not. I find it’s very common to know the people who live right next door but maybe not the people who live across the way. But we are all part of the same community and would all greatly benefit from getting along with one another. Here are a few ways to ensure a positive neighbor to neighbor experience!
1) Be mindful of noise: Lower the volume on radios, parties and arguments with other family members, especially at night. And avoid running machinery early in the morning.
2) Share: Share a Smile a Hello or even a cookout or yard sell. Share your ideas your opinions and your help. Invite people into your life with simple ways of sharing. Also be sure to share your plans with your neighbors especially if it will affect them in anyway (ex: get-togethers).
3) Participate: Be sure to participate in all community events and even be a part of our cool online social network. If you haven’t noticed the blog facebook and twitter are perfect places to interact with your neighbors!!!
