Stress = not your friend. Relax is the way to do it! It’s no fun when you finally lay in bed and you can’t relax. Your to-do list gets longer, your mind goes at 9o mph, and you won’t fall asleep. Don’t get on your email and leave your cell on the nightstand. Here’s a few things that help me fix this problem:
- Drink tea before you fall asleep (make sure it’s the sleepy kind, instead of caffeinated)
- A glass of wine
- Listen to music or white noise (download the white noise app from iTunes)
- Take a warm bath
- Read a book (just make sure it’s enjoyable)
