Fort Lauderdale wishes everyone a “Happy Fourth of July” and invites you to celebrate Independence Day with them. Start off your holiday weekend at the Oasis Cafe and enjoy the family activities. Coast 97.3 FM is coming to the beach too!
The following is a summary of the City’s July 4th events:
- 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Family beach activities featuring music, games and contests
- 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Music provided by Coast 97.3 FM
- 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Live musical entertainment
- 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks presentation

Ah Hukilau!

What are you doing this weekend? Why not visit the 9th Annual “Hukilau“ from June 10th – June 13th at Fort Lauderdale. They’ve got tickets for all kinds of budgets (from $10 to $85) or you can volunteer. The Hukilau dates back to the old days as a festival held in fishing villages. Today, it celebrates the Hawaiian and Polynesian Pop culture and remembering the Tiki bar. This festival has great entertainment, food, movies, and activities for you to enjoy all weekend long!
