Sleeping Cat

Stress = not your friend. Relax is the way to do it! It’s no fun when you finally lay in bed and you can’t relax. Your to-do list gets longer, your mind goes at 9o mph,  and you won’t fall asleep. Don’t get on your email and leave your cell on the nightstand. Here’s a few things that help me fix this problem:

  • Drink tea before you fall asleep (make sure it’s the sleepy kind, instead of caffeinated)
  • A glass of wine
  • Listen to music or white noise (download the white noise app from iTunes)
  • Take a warm bath
  • Read a book (just make sure it’s enjoyable)

Kids Go Through It Too

The holidays have been always been a time for joy and happiness. It is supposed to bekid2 the most wonderful time of the year. We all know many parents get stressed out around this time. With all the saving, shopping and spending things can get a little crazy. However, did you know that kids get stressed out too. There are a lot of changes that go on during the holidays that kids go through. The traveling and change of schedule isn’t really healthy for kids. There are a couple of tips for you guys out there that have kids to lesson their stress during these times.
